렉피니언 방식(Rack and Pinion)은 스마트팜에서 사용되는 기구로, 회전운동을 직선운동으로 변환하거나 그 반대로 변환하는 메커니즘입니다. 이 방식은 톱니 모양의 랙(기어 이빨이 있는 직선 모양의 막대)과 작은 기어인 피니언이 맞물려 회전 운동을 직선 운동으로 또는 그 반대로 변환합니다. 이 시스템은 온실 천창 및 측창 개폐 장치 등에서 주로 사용됩니다.
