상대 습도(Relative humidity)란?
“상대 습도”란 스마트팜 환경에서 특정 부피의 공기 안에 실제로 포함된 수증기 양과 해당 공기가 최대로 포함할 수 있는 수증기 양(포화 수증기 양) 사이의 비율을 나타내는 개념입니다. 이 비율은 주로 백분율(%)로 나타내며 “습도”라고도 불립니다. 예를 들어, 상대 습도가 50%라면 현재 공기에는 실제로 포함된 수증기 양이 해당 온도와 압력에서 포화 수증기 양의 50%를 차지하고 있다는 것을 의미합니다. 상대 습도는 공기의 습윤 정도를 판단하는데 중요한 지표로 활용됩니다. 만약 상대 습도가 낮다면 공기가 건조하고, 높다면 공기가 습한 것을 나타냅니다.

“Relative humidity” refers to the ratio (%) between the actual amount of water vapor present in a given volume of air in a smart farm environment and the maximum amount of water vapor that the same volume of air could hold at its current temperature (saturated water vapor amount). This ratio is typically expressed as a percentage (%), and it’s often referred to as “humidity.” For example, if the relative humidity is 50%, it means that the current air contains water vapor equal to 50% of the saturated water vapor amount at the same temperature and pressure. Relative humidity is a crucial indicator used to assess the moisture level of the air. If the relative humidity is low, the air is dry; if it’s high, the air is humid.
