“생리장애” 또는 “생리장해(Physiological disorder)”는 스마트팜에서 작물이 다양한 물리적이고 화학적인 환경 및 스트레스에 대처할 수 없을 때 나타나는 생리적 이상 현상을 의미합니다.
이러한 현상은 주로 내부적인 원인에 의해 발생하는 “장애”와 외부적인 원인에 의해 나타나는 “장해”로 나뉩니다. 작물의 영양 불균형에서 비롯된 영양생리 장애와 기후의 악화, 가스 피해 등에 의해 발생할 수 있으며, 때로는 장애와 장해를 구분하기 어려운 경우도 있습니다.
이러한 현상은 대사 과정과 관련된 기온, 광선, 습도, 공기 등의 지상 환경, 그리고 산도, 수분, 영양, 지온 등의 지하 환경, 그리고 시설재배에 사용되는 다양한 자재들과의 상호작용에 의해 발생할 수 있습니다.

“Physiological disorders” in smart farms refer to physiological abnormalities that occur when crops are unable to cope with various physical, chemical, and environmental stresses.
These phenomena are usually categorized into “disorders,” which occur due to internal factors, and “injuries,” which result from external causes. These disorders can arise from imbalances in nutrients, adverse weather conditions, gas damage, and other external factors. Sometimes, it’s challenging to distinguish between disorders and injuries.
These conditions arise due to the interaction of factors such as temperature, light, humidity, air quality, as well as underground factors like acidity, moisture, nutrients, and temperature. Additionally, the use of various materials in controlled environments can contribute to these physiological issues.
